When you hear the word "cyberspace," it might sound abstract, like something out of a sci-fi movie. But the truth is, you’re in cyberspace right now.

Cyberspace is simply the digital world we all use every day. It’s where your texts go. Where your photos are saved. Where your emails live, it’s your Instagram feed, your online bank, your work Zoom meetings, your smart home devices, all connected through the internet.

We used to visit the internet. Now, we live in it.

That’s why protecting yourself in cyberspace is just as important as locking your front door. Hackers, scams, and digital threats don’t need to break in physically. They just need a weak password or a click on the wrong link.

So, when you hear "cybersecurity," think: How can I stay safe in this digital version of my real life?

Because cyberspace isn’t somewhere else. It’s everywhere you go with your phone, your laptop, and your online presence.
